One thing that keeps Austin weird is the food selection. You can get any cuisine on any day at any time! Many of the most unique restaurant venues in Austin are the food trucks. There are over 1,000 food trailers in Austin according to Eater Austin. You can check out their guide to the 20 essential food trucks in Austin to get a better idea of how many cuisines are offered. Spend time outdoors
Spending time outdoors is proven to help students prevent college burnout. If you start feeling a case of the back-to-school blues this semester, make a trip to the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail. This recreational and nature facility is one of the top outdoor attractions in Austin, and rated as one of the top three things to do by TripAdvisor. You can walk, jog, run, or bike along this 10-mile trail while you enjoy a view of the gorgeous city skyline. The lake is also open for activities like kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and stand-up paddle boarding.
